There are some things in my last chapter of Unadulterated Something, especially regarding Elphaba's characterization, that raised a few eyebrows and earned me some criticism. I have no issue with criticism -- in fact, I downright appreciate it, because it's what makes me into a better writer. But, now I am in this place where I am fighting the urge ( Read more... )

You make a very interesting point about over-sexualizing Elphaba, and I actually think that it's something that can be said for fandom as a whole (or at the very least, the Wicked fandom ( ... )

I agree; the entire fandom wants to get into Elphie's skirts, haha. There is something extremely compelling about a character that is so fiery and strong, but at the same time, in some ways also very innocent and vulnerable (at least in Musicalverse). I am hopelessly in love with her.
