Title: (Still needs a title...)
Summary(?): nada
Rating: PG13 (occasional(sp?) cursing)
Disclaimer: the characters are sorta based on people from a lot of different bands. I don't own them. There will probably be some OCs too. None of this ever happened. Not unless I have amnesia or something... but yea. Anyways... try to enjoy.
He handed her the cup and sat down beside her. "I should've seen this coming. It's my fault," she said, still looking down. "No it's not," Billy said. Morgan looked up at him then back down. "I knew he didn't love me... I wanted him to so bad." She ran her thumb over the lip of the cup. "He never loved me," she looked back at Billy, who was looking down. "But, you did."
Billy looked up at her. "I would see you watching me out of the corner of my eye. You were always there when I needed you. When I didn't think I needed you..." she smiled a little then frowned. She looked away. "I was too busy chasing something that didn't exist to do anything about it." She looked up at him. "I always liked you, Billy. It killed me to see you with Linzi. When you didn't seem to like me back... I went elsewhere." She pulled the blanket tighter around her and looked back down. "Guess I missed my chance, huh?" she said trying to smile. Billy blinked. He didn't know what to say. Morgan looked down and stood up. "I should go,"she said. "No-" Billy started. "You have a date with Linzi. You should go get ready," she said. She forced a smile. "I'll walk. I'll be fine." Billy stood up. "You should stay here," he said. Morgan shook her head. "I don't want you walking home alone." Morgan looked up at him. "I'll be fine," she said. She folded the blanket and set it down on the couch. "Thank you," she said looking back up at him. "For what?" Morgan looked down. "For everything." She looked up at him and smiled. "I'll see you later," she said looking away. She grabbed her coat and left. "See ya...." Billy said after the door closed. He walked over to the window and watched her walk away. Billy sighed. He walked into his room and kicked the door closed. He poked the play button on his cd player. He walked over to his dresser and got a t-shirt out as "All That I've Got" by the Used started playing. He put it on then, walked back over to his closet. He grabbed a coat off of one of his suits. He turned off his cd player as he walked out of his room. He tossed his coat on the counter. He sat in one of the barstools and sighed again. He ran his hand through his hair. A flash of lightning lit up the room. "Damn," he said. He grabbed his keys and his coat. He walked out the door and straight into Linzi. "Hey," she said smiling. "I was just about to come get you. You ready?" Billy looked down at her then in the direction Morgan had walked. Billy didn't say anything. Linzi looked where he was looking. "Strange weather" she said, looking out at the rain. "It was perfectly fine earlier." "Yeah..." Billy muttered. "Come on, "Linzi said. "Let's go before it gets worse." She grabbed his hand and held her umbrella over them. She pulled him toward her car. Billy pulled away from her and walked over to the passenger side. She looked at him weird. Billy stood there, waiting. She ran over to the driver's side and got in. She reached over and opened his door. Billy didn't move. He was staring up the road. "Billy you're getting soaked. Get in." she said. Billy looked and got in. Linzi stared at him. Are you okay?" she asked him. Billy looked at her and forced a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine." He turned away to find his seatbelt. Linzi gave him a confused look. "Okay then....." She started the car and backed out of the driveway.
Lightning lit up the sky again. Morgan pulled her jacket tighter around her, but kept walking. "I should've kept my mouth shut..." she thought to herself. "Things are going to- God, I fucked up." she sighed. A car slowed down beside her. She glanced over at the car. The window rolled down. She started walking faster. The car pulled up beside her again. "Get in," the driver yelled over the sound of the rain. Morgan ignored him and kept walking. The driver looked back and forth between her and the road. "Dammit, Morgan! Get in!" Morgan kept walking. "Stop following me," she said looking at the car. "Get in!" "Go home," she said. "Not until you get in the fucking car!" he said. "I'm not getting in." "Morgan the house is seven fucking blocks away! Get in the car." Morgan ignored him.
The driver sighed and stopped the car. Morgan stopped and looked. She rolled her eyes. She walked back to the car and got in. The driver reached into the backseat and grabbed a blanket. He covered her up and turned the heat on. "Frank, I'm fine." She sneezed. Frank rolled his eyes and pulled back onto the road. "I told you to take an umbrella," he said looking at her. "Where were you anyway?" Morgan pulled the blanket closer. "Billy's" she said quietly. "Which one?" he asked glancing over at her. She gave him that look. Frank smirked. "Why were you there?" he asked. He stopped at a red light. "I don't wanna talk about it," she said staring out her window at the rain. Frank looked over at her. The light turned green. Frank looked back at the road and started driving again. He looked back over at her. "M, what happened?" "I said I don't want to talk about it." she snapped. "For fucks's sake, Morgan. Your fucking face is swelling and you have bruises on your fucking neck. Don't lie to me, Morgan. What the fuck happened?!" She started crying again. The car stopped at a red light. Morgan opened her door and ran. "Morgan!" Frank yelled. She didn't stop. Frank hit the steering wheel. "Fuck!"
