Gah, sorry about all that first bit. If it helps, even if the tailbone is broken, there's not much they'd do for it besides tell you to buy an inflatable donut and maybe give you some pain pills. best of wishes with the logistical nightmare and cheers to the gardening.
I fell down the stairs a few years ago and bruised my tailbone and didn't go to the doctor and I was fine. Until about 8 months later when I started to get this horrible grinding pain in my lower back/hip area. When I finally went to the doctor, the x-ray of my spine looked like a "j". Apparently you can jam those little bones down there into an uncomfortable position.
I'm totally with you on pretty much everything you said about the Good Wife, including the "go back to Casey!" bit. :)
It's so nice to see a show about and for grownups, really. One of the other things I like a lot is that Alicia's daughter and son aren't carbon copies of each other (or worse, often in TV the daughter doesn't get to do anything but tag along) and have different reactions to stuff their parents are going through. I even like the way they've explored the tensions between Alicia and her mother in law.
The only really stereotypical TV female character so far has been the blonde on Peter's defense team. But I think they realized that was a mistake and brought on Alan Cumming to be far more interesting.
I love Archie Punjabi so so much. (I love Christine Baranski too, but that's been going on for 20-plus years now.)
Yeah, I like that the relationship between her and her kids is very show-don't-tell. I feel like, on another show, there would have been a very special "TELL ME HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR FATHER BEING IN JAIL, EXPLAIN IT TO ME IN WORDS THE AUDIENCE CAN UNDERSTAND" episode by now.
