have you ever been so thoroughly annoyed with yourself that you want to just bonk yourself over the head? well, i have, namely THIS MORNING when my alarm didn't go off (i assume i forgot to set it - no alarm hate :( ) and i didnt wake up fpr church. What's more, church doesn't start until 11 and of course, i didn't wake up until 10:45. Why o why

Waking up late blows, but eh, it's gonna happen in college unless you go to sleep at 11am every night, or midnight at the latest.

I think that people would rally behind a "lets-get-the-troops-out-of-Iraq" movement if they weren't so afraid of government repercussion. Nowadays, while there are First-Amendment rights to say things, there are still wrong things to say that put people in jail or at least in trouble.

That's part of why I wouldn't go hang-gliding if I had 24 hours to live. I'm slowly getting used to doing things that Really Matter in (some of) my free time, like getting involved with a bunch of friends who are concerned about spreading the Gospel -- and being involevd in something like that simply seems more interesting than Earthly "tourism".

So since the only things I can affect (that won't someday pass away) are my soul and those of the people around me, I just... well, my friends and loved ones are just more intersting than thrills.

So anyway. How about some spreading the Gospel together? That would certainly mean something. ;)

Well I dont know about Facebook but there havent been many things that our particular generation can stand behind as a whole. The war definitely isnt one of those things and I get the idea that even 'back then' when there was a myth of a united front, everyone wasn't on the bus at the same time ya know? So we've just got each pick our own battles and follow through no it. I totally understand what you're talking about though, it is disappointing.
