Twenty-Two
“Aiba don’t call, it might be dangerous.”
“You were never this impulsive.” Trust Aiba to be vague when there is urgency.
But Aiba wasn’t really very vague. Jun knew what he was and what he wasn’t and Jun hates it when Aiba is right. He doesn’t even have a plan. He didn’t have any time to think.
“Shut up.”
“Shachou’s already teamed up with Kiiroi to find you and Toma so you’re pretty much surrounded. Go north, pass through Ao’s area because we couldn’t contact them yet. Ryo’s apartment is on the way. Yours is already guarded. Get supplies and hide. Destroy this number because the Shachou might call and call me when you get a new one. I’ll tell you when a station clears up.”
Jun was glad that Aiba got down to business. But hearing him firing out instructions like that scared him. He needed to pull himself together for Toma.
Twenty-Three
The whirr of the bike’s engine was comforting and the way they whizzed past everything steadily soothed out Jun’s jumbled thoughts, his fears.
Yamashita’s motor bike was convenient because it wasn’t registered. Made from scrap parts and with an excellent paint job it was better than most bikes anyway in terms of service. Jun hoped that Yamashita didn’t mind him ‘borrowing’ it for and unspecified period.
Toma was holding him from behind. His face was pushed into Jun’s neck and Jun could swear he had fallen asleep if not for the tight grip around his middle. When they were like that, Jun found himself not caring about anything else anyway.
A/N: Twenty-three is so meaningless XD For you know who XD
