Dear restaurants in Florida: it is not hot out. Therefore, you needn't crank the a/c up to crazy levels to compensate. Actually, I'd prefer you didn't do that in summer, either, but it's particularly inexcusable now.

After I eat a lot of ribs and/or fried things, I tend to feel positively warm. But the temperature difference between a populated building interior and the outside is important. Perhaps there being a notable difference is more important than using static numbers, i.e. Not 75 degrees, but around twelve degrees cooler than the outside.

So far as heating populated areas goes, I am still of mixed thoughts. I spend a lot of time attempting to escape the heat and am frustrated when unable to do so without exposing myself to the outside.
