 Today my baby girl is 8. She is officially a tween and I found that to be very true in trying to find her a present. She will like anything we get her since that is just her middle-child personality. I wanted to find her something that suited her. I have fretted over it for a while now

Awww, happy birthday to the Roo! Paint sets = evil. I once got the kids a set of metal paints. So they could paint their toy cars.

I'm glad you guys are feeling better. I knew you all were taking the preventative antibiotic, but did Bill get the full strep anyway? I'm glad all this sick stuff didn't prevent you and Katherine from getting to go on your road trip. It sounds like you had a blast (which probably helped fortify you for sick-husband week).

Also I'm so happy to hear you and Katherine's views on paint sets. I've felt like the worst mom because I drag my feet every time the kids want to paint. I thought I was the only one! :)
