I'm glad to hear you are feeling better today. *hugs*
What kind of curriculum are you using with the kids? I have become enamored of Charlotte Mason lately and reading her books on education a lot. Even though I don't have kids yet, I am trying to prepare for that eventuality. ;)
I have heard of Charlotte Mason and know only a little bit. I couldn't find a curriculum that fit us perfectly, so each semester I style my own with materials from several. Math has been Saxon Math starting at Second Grade. For reading, I use Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Days. It is okay and very phonetical. Reading lessons for my second daughter are the really old McGuffey Books and a variety of books I throw in. My oldest is working through a list of age apporiate classics. We started it all with The Well-Trained Mind. I highly recommend this book. I also do Science, History, Writing, Art, Music, etc.

But she is going to have to learn how to buckle down and do it. Hooray for Seamus!
