Mallard Creek BBQ

Its a strange southern tradition. Today is the 77th Mallard Creek BBQ, held at a local church. There's nothing really odd about having a fund-raiser, of course, and a BBQ seems apropos here. I wish more places had traditions like that. It would be a great chance to actually see and hear who im voting for with a little less of the political BS. It also humanizes the candidates.

I don't think you've met many candidates. I like them as far as possible from me; my wallet feels safer that way.

I wish they'd do something like that in Kansas so people know if they're putting anti-evolution freaks in office.
