Shawn and I went to the Holocaust Museum this past weekend, it's at the corner of Orchard lake and 12 Mile if you're interested, and it's free. It was an informative experience that focuses on the Jewish perspective of the Holocaust. After tooling around for an hour or so we sat in on a talk by a holocaust survivor from France. Back in my undergrad days I took a course on the Holocaust taught by my college advisor, Prof. Sid Bolkosky. Sid's pet project for many years has been documenting survivor's stories. His webpage below has some interesting articles about talking to survivors that you might find helpful.
