I know that a) I graded you guys from some edition of Boyce and DiPrima, and b) when I was learning DEs myself the previous summer, I got the one-earlier edition.

So presumably it's whatever edition came out in the summer/fall of 2000. The cover on Ariel's link looks familiar, but I'm not sure if that's because it's for the one I learned from or the one I graded from...
