I agree with most of the things that you said. But I mean, we aren't all wrong, each person is entitled to their own opinion, but I still love you anyways. Henley especially needs to focus on the freshmen, not to make fun of the freshmen, but we got the shit beat out of us by the upperclassmen when we couldnt march, so we practiced during summer and worked like bitches to get as good as we are. I was there when the freshmen were marching this past year, and wow, I didnt break a sweat. Coming from junior high and doing NO marching and NO real playing is a big jump and the focus needs to be on freshmen until school starts. We did not need to do that intonation motivation bullshit before learning our real drill...that was a fucking hard drill to learn and we didnt even practice it everyday! It was a complete waste of time.

heh, sorry, i had to.and i agree, part of the reson we did so damn bad was that most of the freshmen, with a few noteworthy exceptions, sucked it up. bad. now granted, i fell over a few times, but i wanna see all you people who laughed at me march around with a 20-40- lb drum attached to your shoulders. backwards. over a curb. so that i can laugh when you bust your ass. and henley should have kept the practices longer. everyone wouldve bitched about it, but we wouldnt have done so bad either. that being said, robert isnt just arrogant, or just confident. hes a little o' both. kinda like me, which is why i never got along with him.
