I wonder if presidents in the US of A are no longer winning because of their views but instead are winning, like most popular clothes and other material goods. They have to have more money so they can jam their name down your throat the most.http://www.

I read something about how the winner of every election since Television came out has been the tallest major candidate in the race. They have generally tended to be the most telegenic candidate too.

I recall seeing something Al Franken said about this recently, something he has already learned from his candidacy for the Senate in Minnesota -- about how much time politicians spend hitting people up for money and the inevitable influence that has on the political decisions they make.
