If there's anything more annoying than a re-post of the same topic, it's a re-post of that topic that's been closed by a moderator for being a re-post! I think it's equally annoying that there are so many new/young members that don't bother to check the rest of the forums for their answers. But yeah I definitely agree with what you're saying, and I got "reminded" not to bump my post more often then once exactly ever 24 hours :/ I can understand once a day, but sheesh do you have to be so anal?

Yeah... it's so ridiculously anal. That's another thing with the once a day bump... they can't seriously be wanting us to sign in and bump our posts at the exact same hour that we posted it, can they? If you have a bump on Monday, then one on Tuesday, then one on Wednesday, it's that okay even if the timestamps don't match up to 24 hours later?

I also hate how some opinions/posts are belittled by the mods who try to uphold this standard.

Dude, I totally agree...

It scares away most if not all the newbies from posting if their very first posts are shot down by moderators who tell them to review the rules. If anything, this doesn't make for a friendly environment.

In the end it really doesn't matter... but I do wish that there was a forum for us to post whatever the hell we wanted to. LOL if you don't get on doing a forum, Tracy and I have some ideas too XD

yeah =/ I've never felt this way about the forum until recently... all these changes and newer moderators--whom I know are good friendly people--but you know, absolute power corrupts absolutely...
