Fic!

Written for wildannuette as a back up for the Simon kink-a-thon at talkcrazy. She wanted Simon/Jayne/Kaylee, teasing and roleplaying. I'd rate this NC-17.

Beta'd by valiant. Remaining mistakes are all on me.

Enjoy!

He stroked his fingers over the stiff fabric and remembered what it had felt like to put it on. Like putting on a whole different persona. Like becoming someone entirely new. Redone from the ground up. With no hesitation or worry or nerves or over-rutting-thinking. An officer. Who knew what was what and that what he wanted would instantly be taken care of. Someone that didn't take orders or even suggestions. It was all done his way and god help anyone that might be stupid enough to question it.

He shouldn't have kept it. He should have tossed it the moment he didn't need it. He should have hated the person he became when he put this get up on. A lie and a monster.

Should have should have should have... A lot of things he 'should have' done. What did they matter though? Especially out here where he still couldn't manage to do the things he should have been doing.

Like standing up for himself instead of letting the Captain step on him at every opportunity. His hands twisted in the fabric and his face near burned with shame. Or Jayne... He didn't really need to get started on Jayne. And the way he could never come up with the right thing to say to Kaylee.

How hard could it be to just step up to her and admit, “I like you.” Just like that. “I like you.” Kaylee wasn't that innocent. It was plain as day what she wanted from him. The full extent of it. He could walk up to her and say, “I want to fuck you,” and she probably wouldn't even bat an eye.

He just needed the courage and mind set to be able to do that.

He was already shrugging his vest off. The cotton shirt and the dress pants. Changing into the Alliance officer uniform, feeling the way the collar constricted around his throat, just like he remembered all too clearly. Every scrap of fabric stiffer than his own clothes by far, especially now that his usual attire was getting worn through and soft.

Shedding the old clothes and dawning the outfit, it forced him to stand a bit straighter, not Doctor Tam or fugitive Tam. He took a deep breath, straightening and smoothing out the fabric. Officer Tam. Who didn't take any go se from anyone.

It was already hours into the ship's night when he left his bunk, even the captain would be tucked away by now. He almost hoped that he'd run into Mal or Jayne while brisk strides carried him along the corridors to Kaylee's bunk. The adage be careful what you wish for, came along too late.

He made it to the corridor of the crew quarters before he felt the bruising grip at his shoulders, muffling a startled cry by biting into his lower lip. His pained noise was stifled the same way when he was tossed up against the wall, metal hand rail digging into his lower back.

Jayne was staring impassively back at him, the hand that wasn't pressing Simon up against the wall, curled around the hilt of his knife. “Playin' a little dress up, there?”

“As a matter of fact.” Simon sneered, not bothering to struggle out of Jayne's grip, knowing that he couldn't. An officer didn't need to struggle, anyways. He drew himself up, instead, his full height maybe not impressive next to Jayne's but it was all in how you carried it anyway. In meeting Jayne's eyes with an uncompromising gaze, an imperious lift of one eyebrow. “The uniform doesn't make you nervous, does it, Jayne?”

He could see Jayne hesitate, see the merc turning this over in his mind. After a moment, through which Simon impatiently waited, he shoved Simon back against the wall harder. Simon did his best to hide the wince. “Ain't workin' for the other side are ya, doc?”

Simon could feel himself falling into the role, the familiar rush he'd gotten before from wearing this uniform creeping up on him. This time he could truly enjoy it, let it overtake him, making it easy to lift a hand to press against Jayne's chest, a subtle warning. “Like you said, playing dress up.”

Jayne frowned, clearly unsure what to do now in the face of Simon's confidence, his lack of denial. His grip on Simon relaxed until Simon could have slipped away if he chose. He was enjoying himself too much now, rush of blood through him, settling low, not even giving him the option of stopping whatever-this-was he'd decided to start. He wasn't planning on starting it with Jayne but an officer rolled with the changes and adapted them to his own use.

“I wanted to try something different tonight. And since you're here...” He slid, rubbed, his hand along Jayne's chest and felt the merc's deep breathing quicken. “I think you're about as wildly different as I could get.”

“What're y' getting at here, doc?” The heat in Jayne's gaze said he knew.

Simon smiled. “I think you'd better call me 'sir'.”

It took Jayne what Simon might not even count as a heartbeat to consider it, the pros and cons, if Jayne actually thought that far, and then agree. Agree by pressing in and Simon could feel the hard length of Jayne's erection digging into his hip. It wasn't that but the growled 'sir' against his ear that had him shuddering.

It was easy after that to get Jayne onto his knees, all it took was the promise of favours returned, forgetting they were in the corridor or, in Jayne's case, simply not caring.

His dick was bare to the cool of the ship, Jayne's big hand wrapping around him in an instant, proving to Simon that it was more than just guns Jayne knew how to handle. Simon bit at his lip again to stop the moan, head rolling to the side against the wall, dazed eyes meeting up with Kaylee's shocked ones in the same instant Jayne's mouth eagerly sucked down his cock.

His own eyes widened, from Jayne and Kaylee and too much at once, a hint of fugitive Tam leaking in that told him to push Jayne away and stammer out an apology. That was until he noticed the look behind the shock. The flush to Kaylee's cheeks that was more than embarrassment at having stumbled across what should have been an intimate act. She was turned on. And Jayne just kept sucking at his cock.

He'd wanted to say something to her... He held his hand out, words failing even the officer, to beckon her closer, feeling the confidence leaching back into him when she obeyed. She stepped in, her legs brushed Jayne's shoulder and Simon could see the flash of surprise in Jayne's eyes when he looked to her. He still kept sucking. Then Kaylee's mouth was on his, his fingers curled into her hair to pull her in and keep her there.

It felt good, so gorramn good, only made tenfold by the scrape of Jayne's teeth along his shaft. Her breasts pressed against his chest and she had to be leaning on Jayne to get that close to him.

He gripped at her shoulder's, uncompromising hold to nudge her back, his voice hard, not a hint of a tremor as he told Jayne to stop. He quirked an eyebrow to them both, the smile on his lips wicked in a way he'd never felt before. “We need a bunk. I don't really care whose, I just care that you get moving.”

Kaylee looked shocked again, turned on and caught up in the same whirlwind Simon didn't want to escape. He could see the questions forming on her lips but they could wait until later, he could explain it to her later, if she'd only go along with him now. Him and Jayne, and it was Jayne that was getting up to his feet, lavish grin to Kaylee.

“He likes it when ya call him 'sir'.”

“Sir?”

“Seems our fugee’s got a few kinks. Ain't so stiff after all.”

It took just a sharp glare to get him moving, only a door down to his bunk and he shoved the hatch open. Simon turned back to Kaylee to meet with her wide eyes.

“I'll explain to you, Kaylee, I promise. But right now there's just one thing I want to say to you.” He wrapped his arm around her waist to pull her in, ignoring the impatient noise from Jayne as he waited. “I want to fuck you. Tonight and tomorrow and for as long as you'll let me.”

She let out a slow breath, smile spreading, pleased and relieved. “Sir, yes, sir.”

She gave a salute before heading off to follow Jayne down into his bunk.
