Really now, who's bright idea was it to have NaNoWriMo during November? We've got elections (which have taken up a majority of gloraelin's time tonight watching results) at the beginning, and Thanksgiving near the end, plus the start of the holiday shopping season RIGHT after. Isn't there a better month?

No seriously, though, I'm having real problems with it this year. I picked a very "ambitious" project to work on, and it seems like every time I sit down to tackle it, tons of words pour out, but not words that add up to a fictional novel. I've made like 3 LJ posts today, and plotted out various essays and other forms of expository or persuasive writing. I still don't know if I'm going to finish the damn novel, though.
