I twisted my hair!! They're called kinky twists. I suppose that this is sort of a birthday gift to myself. To actually take that kind of time out and do something for me is the biggest thing I've done for myself in a while. I'm always doing for others and not myself, so this was a big deal personally

Yep, pretty much like dreads, with a little less hassle. I just have to make sure I keep my scalp happy without gunking up the twists.
