Union Square is way too much fun for someone with compulsive shopping tendencies like me. I spent the day wandering the area, almost adopted several dogs, inside a sports equipment store I saw the biggest huskie I have EVER encountered, and I managed NOT to buy any DVDs. It's interesting that going a single day without medication literally takes you back to square one. There's no gradation, there's no slow reverse to the original state; it's either on or off. My door moves everytime the building breathes. As in, everytime a slight draft hits any part of the building, my door, which is loosely bolted by one, count 'em, ONE lock, shakes back and forth in the doorway.
