It's my daughter Lyra's third birthday. I am so proud of her! She is growing up so fast. It doesn't seem very long ago when she was born- I get sentimental about it every time her birthday rolls around. I'll probably cry tonight, hahha!

She was born at 7:29pm on 7/29.

My little stinker!

awww what a lil doll...Happy Bday sweet lil Lyra girl :)

I remember getting the news that you were in labor and stuff and I was so scared for ya....then I remember coming by the next day to bring you flowers and stuff....they nurse let me in and you were pretty much zonked out with lil Pinkie Puff nestled next to you...you were awake for a second and kinda groggy...I told you she was precious and something doofy like congrats mommy but anyway...she was sooo tiny but so perfect...I was so proud of my strong friend....and I still am...you are one of the best moms ever.....you should be very proud that you are such a wonderful role model for your lil girl

Boy I tell you what, they had me on some pretty stiff drugs. I had a morphine pump. It was a time release pump, and I could feel when it wore off, and I'd start pumping the thing like crazy, just hoping it was time to get some more. And you know me.. totally flipping out over taking medicine and stuff- but I would have been a goner without that morphine. I felt like dying!! And I was solely responsible for tending to Lyra while I was all doped up, and brand new at all this. It was a shite sandwich, I'll tell you what!!!!!!!!! The contractions were nothing, the after-surgery pain was unbelievable. Higgoo. People say that women forget about the pain involved with birth, and go on to have more children. NOT ME. I can't forget, and I am NOT going through that crap again ( ... )

oh sweety you are not screwing her up...if anything she's getting the most balanced up bringing...you totally look out for her...keep her educated, feed her CORRECTLY...I think you def. go several steps beyond what most moms do....

Yah I was really upset when it turned out they had to do the c section because I KNEW how much you were against the meds and all....I got really sad because I knew it was gonna upset you....but umm HIGGOO YOU HAD to have something......haha you need to make sure to tell me ALL about the pain next time I get all 'why god why' over not having any kids LOL.....my mom doesnt remember the pain but back in the 70's I'm sure they doped them up sooooo much...it's probably why I'm a mess...HAHA KIDDING....

It's obvious your mommy instincts kicked in super uber fast.....

I haven't forgotten about the Syb post...hehe that's soon I got busy at work...I wanna show off the pretty model that wore my fall..I'm honored ya took pics for me!!!
