It's not just about the art, it's the fact it presents a different way of two people ultimately falling in love. That's why females love it, I'm sure. Also, not all humour has to be belly laughs, and it wasn't just the Japanese culture stuff that was funny in the film, although being that it is called 'Lost In Translation', that was a major point ( ... )

Last time I checked, film was considered an art form.

But anyway, what's that got to do with it? It won BAFTAs for acting and editing, nowt else. Quit moaning.
