Man, these past few years have been really hard on my favorite authors and game designers.  Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson, Eric Wujick, Robert Jordan, Drew Hayes, Robert Aspirin, and now David Eddings.

Am I missing anyone?

I'm'a be interviewing Robert Sawyer sometime in July. He's not dead yet!

You know what's frustrating? I had to Google Mr. Sawyer because no one had ever given me a copy of one of his books and said, "Dude, you should read this! It's great!" I suspect it's because he's Canadian and not because he sucks or anything, because his wikipedia page is, like, a checklist of awesome awards given for awesomeness in writing fantasy and science fiction.
Why is it that you never hear about hot-shot typewriter ninjas from Canada? At least you're doing your part. Now hopefully I'll be able to remember to borrow a copy of one of his books the next time I'm at the library or can find someone to mooch a copy off of.
