[Locked to KK!Karin, Kazune, and Kazusa]

I assume Kazune is still frozen, but...I heard about what happened at the Silver Dragon and I'm sorry. Have you found a new place to live? I would offer the park, but Graystripe, Feathertail, and Jayfeather may not be comfortable with that idea.

Well...have you tried talking to him?

Jayfeather's not the easiest cat to talk to. I try, but he keeps shutting me out.

Does he have any friends really?

...He, ...no.

He's surprisingly coherent today. purdeyascanbe August 3 2009, 20:09:46 UTC
Well let's see here...when I was a kit I found out one of the perks of living with upwalkers was that you always had a nice warm place to sleep. somethin' about sleepin' with other bods, hearin' em breath and drift off, soothin'! Kinda like how the clan cat's share dens.

I imagine life i'd be alot easier and he'd sleep a little sounder with his denmate...or a substitute.

That's...surprisingly helpful, Purdy. As a medicine cat, Jayfeather had his own den back home, but he still slept close to Leafpool...

...I suppose I could ask if he wants to sleep closer tonight.

I didn't get this old by being stupid~

I spose I could sleep a little closer to you all tonight too, I've been favoring this rock to the south lately.

Jayfeather managed to get all the ticks off him, right?

Of course. I don't mean to be rude or anything.

Oh dear...has he done this before?

Not that I've seen. In our world it could mean he's receiving a message from StarClan, but...they can't reach us here.

That's definitely some kind of psychological issue. Nightmares, insomnia, and that kind of thing could be a sign of an underlying trauma, something that should definitely be probed before trying to get him off the seeds.

Insightful. How do you suppose I should go about this? Jayfeather's not the most open cat.

Well, an important part is analysis. Keep an eye on his habits, the way he says and does things, and then bring them up when you find the chance--just keep pointing it out to him. Pay attention to whenever he lets something slip about his thoughts or his past, and try to connect them to his habits. Bring that up with him too.

I can try that. Thank you. So many things happened to him - he's not the same cat I knew, and any help is appreciated.

Hi...I don't think we've met but my name is Jinx.

What if I told you I knew someone who could walk in his dreams and give him some help?

...I would say that worries me, but at this point, it may be the only choice I have. Dreams are supposed to be sacred things, but...if it comes to that...

She's very trustworthy for whatever the word of a stranger is worth. She travels into peoples dreams without letting them know she's there and helps them work through problems.

Oftentimes a dream is your mind working through something you need to deal with but the messages can be vague. Professionals like her are a bit better at sorting things out. You know, more minds more ideas.

It was just a suggestion though. If you'd rather not I can let her know to keep her distance.

Trust me, I'm very familiar with messages dreams can be sending. For a medicine cat, those messages can be very literal. It's why I'm worried.

I'll come to you if I can't sort this out myself.
