Fuck it. I don't need Cable TV or the internet. It's a bunch of bullshit when I can't just go to a website and get the answers I want. This whole "confuse-and-evade-so-they'll-give-up-and-buy" crap is pissin' me off.

P.S. I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A PHONE LINE THAT I WON'T USE JUST SO I CAN GET DSL. AND I WON'T PAY $100/MO FOR COMCAST JUST BECAUSE

We had a hard time shelling out the money for the cable tv and cable internet so I sooo hear ya. I think we pay $119/month for digital silver cable(we have the HBO's) and internet. Thats alot, but we need high speed for Dave's work so we had to go with it, ya know? But its painful. Sorry hun...

My comcast broadband plus basic cable is $42.95. That's $3 less because I own my modem, so I don't pay modem rental fees. Right now you can get Comcast cable for $19.95/9 for the first three months. At least, I think they still have that promotion. I'm not sure where you got $100 from. If your residence already has a cable TV line installed in the wall, the installation fees should be none or very little. And you don't need a person to come out and hook up a modem. They can just mail it to you.
