Dude you do not need to do and probably shouldn't try anything complex. Just take a skillet/frying pan, toss some oil into it, heat it up and stir-fry whatever you want to eat. Have it with some rice. If you're making shrimp, I highly highly recommend taking a clove of garlic (the cloves are the smaller parts that make up a head of garlic and are inside the white papery stuff - I didn't know that until I started cooking either), chopping it up all small, and tossing it in with it, because shrimp + garlic = delicious ( ... )

The shrimp in question is already prepared, so it's not like I'd have to peel them, but... yes, garlic shrimp is fucking delicious. Mmmm. And I'll probably try stir frying one of these days since broccoli and carrots are omnomnom, so thanks Peter. D; You're also totally right about Neb -- I completely forgot. Go me.

Peeling shrimp is actually a lot easier than you'd think! Metros often offer bulk uncooked shrimp for relatively cheap, so if you learn to do it you can eat a lot of it.

I know the peeling part isn't hard, it's mostly the fact that it grosses me out. On Christmas, I refused to peel the shells off of the shrimp because their littul legs freak me out.

ngl, I really enjoy poking packaged meat at the grocery store, but there are some meats I won't touch lajdhfalds. Just last Saturday, I was slicing fat off really cold slabs of meat, which should've been disgusting, but I managed to live.

It's not actually affecting me, I was just editing my entry when I noticed I hadn't closed the center tag, nor had I done so on... previous entries. BUT I HOPE IT AFFECTS JUST ME.

Well, what kind of diet is this? Can you just make yourself a piece of meat and a side dish of grain if you want? Cause that is pretty easy- you could eat it in addition to whatever she makes.

Also, if you ever need cooking help, you can ask me. I'd be happy to help, and hopefully it wouldn't be too confusing if I'm explaining stuff through text.

You can start with make things that are fairly simple- like buying premade pesto, putting it on salmon, then cooking it, making something like this and adding some salad.

I couldn't have, because it was mostly a cabbage/veggie soup + veggies or fruits diet, with no room for any additionals. Apparently it worked for my mom's coworker, so we wanted to try it out, but I had no willpower.

As for the cooking, I know ♥ But right now I'm not sauce-comfortable, so I'm sticking to things I can shove in the oven or cook on the stovetop and be done with it.

Yyyyyeah that's not a sustainable diet at all. You need some protein in there at least, and at least SOME carbs of the whole grain variety ( ... )
