hi~ no please don't feel stupid, this is definitely not your fault. anyone could be tricked, they wouldn't know where the stories came from in the first place.

so don't feel bad! i don't blame you, or any of the other people who commented to her - none of you knew a thing, you're not at fault.

Urgh, seeing this just makes me feel all up in arms on your behalf D: I only found out too late though T_T It kind of sucks cos you just want do DO SOMETHING but there's not much you CAN do except leave comments, and now I can't even comment to this fucker directly >_Bottom line is that lame ass people like this are just jealous of the fact that you're a million times more capable than they are at coming up with ideas and seeing them through to the end with an amazing piece of work that everyone loves (and super appreciates!! ^^,). I bet they're even jealous of the love you get from your readers, it's obvious you have some awesome friends thanks to getting involved in fandom

I just wanted to say; all of what I said is based on the assumption that you DO actually enjoy writing/fandom/whatever.

So, just to make it clear, if you wanted to stop writing or something because all it brings you is stress and upset in the first place and you don't even enjoy it anymore, and everyone else keeps telling you to keep on writing because they really love your fics and everything...

In that case, as much as I say this with reluctance considering I want you to stop writing just about as much as the next person ( aka not at all :|| ), but...if it makes you feel that bad, don't let anyone talk you into keeping on writing.

Yes I REALLY REALLY REALLY want you to keep writing but not if it's just going to bring you down constantly <3

Do what makes you happy =P

i do enjoy writing and fandom (mostly, lol) but things like these sometimes really do get me down, ngl. i still love doing it, and i love super junior loads, and that's really what keeps me going, plus my friends and really nice readers i get like you, of course :D i've considered giving up writing a number of times but could never do it, so i don't think i will anytime soon~ i'll keep going as long as my interest lasts :3

It's not just thundersquall that don't blame you, I'm just a reader/friend and when I saw your comments I in no way blamed you either =] Don't worry about any backlash for yourself; we all know who the real guilty person here is =P If anything you're kind of a victim of this YOURSELF as someone that got tricked D:

i'm always appalled by people who do this. :| do they really think we won't find out? granted i probably wouldn't have if you hadn't told me but.

that's the problem with the internet, too--you can't ever really get rid of someone for good; they can always just come back under another guise.

i guess she was just jealous or something, but maybe she just wasn't strong enough to admit it outright, and did so this backhanded way instead. which, while it's flattering, she also has to understand that these works are our sweat and blood. :| and the fact that people can do this without feeling too morally compromised is beyond me.

some people don't understand that writing/drawing/etc. is work, and plagiarizing is the same thing as stealing it, and you can actually go to jail for that sort of stuff. granted these aren't like books and stuff, but, i mean, they're similar. and we've still put enormous amounts of effort into them. effort that no amount of stealing, copying, or plagiarizing can ever hope to compare with

omg kelley, the thought of people stealing people's work is so horrible. i can't believe someone would even do that. i can't imagine what i'd do if someone stole my art or my writing. tbh. it kind of frightens me. people get away with it too, they sell it for money or they put it in books and make money off of it, it's just the kind of thing that the internet allows so easy. :(

ffffff in my uni, we get kicked out and blacklisted from college if we plagiarize. it just makes me so mad that people do it purposely.

i know right? sure, i'd bet there ARE some people who get away with it - but the nature of the internet is such that if you can do this easily, you can get found out easily too.

when i was in high school and uni it was drummed into me that plagiarism is illegal and wrong :| anyone who goes to school should know this, actually. or even if you DON'T go to school - i mean your moral compass has to tell you that stealing someone's work is wrong! even if what we write is "just fanfiction" and we're not published authors/artists/songwriters/whatever, like you said, the work is still our own, and we've still worked our butts off on them. what makes someone think they can just come along and swipe it and pass it off as theirs just for what, the momentary and shallow happiness from a few comments they receive? and the comments wouldn't even be for THEM - it's really for the person whose work they stole! it boggles the mind, honestly.
