i can never wrap my mind around the fact why someone would plagiarize. it just makes no fucking sense. it's exactly like getting spit in the face. you spend so much time and effort coming up with everything, and someone just takes it and claims it as their own. and they're old enough to know better, which just baffles me. haven't you people learned, over and over, that plagiarism is bad? god, i've been plagiarized before too, and it's just a terrible feeling, sitting there and knowing that what's in front of you is yours, but someone else is trying to make it theirs.

you or kelly (or anyone) did not deserve this type of treatment. at all. i hope those people learned a lesson, because they got off very easily and that they could have been sent to court.

urgh i am so sorry it's been done to you too /cuddles. what even makes these people think it's okay to do something like this? especially since like you said, they're old enough to know better, and if you're ever in school it gets drummed into you over and over that plagiarism is illegal and wrong. even if it's "just fanfiction" and probably not something that can be dragged into court, it's still essentially theft. stealing someone's work and pretending it's yours - what satisfaction do you even get out of that? i don't understand at all.
