I haven't updated in forever. I have a lot to say, but I won't. It's cold and i'm loving it. Well i just wanted to update with a song. I like it becuase of MEMORIES, that's about all I have to say about it. Listen to it. I will miss you more than you'd ever know.

It is so odd, we've been in each other's lives for so long, but in such small ways...

we met in 7th grade, at that damned youth group. In the summer, our little group (You, Lindsay, Daniel, AJ, me) went to NASA and Astroworld in Daniel's mom's van.

do you remember?

Freshman year, our same group sat at lunch together everyday for the first semester. You'd always play that one APC song, and I taught Lindsay Chick Magnet, and she played it everyday...

That year I entered a guitar playing contest at Guitar Center, and you just happened to be there when I played. You were my only friend there. You said you wanted this guitar:

That entry made my eyes water...I wasn't really close to Kayla, but saw her everyday, and always said hi..And had talked to her plenty of times since she has been at Carroll...I have a picture of her from homecoming 2 years ago, and it broke my heart ( ... )

we lost touch during the latter half of your earthbound journey but it doesn't stay in vain. even if it was a few years ago, you still drastically affected my usual flow of activity. i remember back when i was with lisette and i chose to call you to play guitar with you instead of her i got in so much trouble. i didn't care. it was worth every minute of that trouble. at the time, playing guitar with you over the phone brought serenity where none had once dared tread. you showed me one of the greatest bands i've ever had the pleasure listening to, Tool. that was in 8th grade. if my memory serves me right, a couple monthes ago we were talking about our similar cocaine experience. how it both enpowers you and destroys you simultaneously. i remember that night i told you i was afraid of hammers, particularly walking hammers like that of the hammers from The Wall. we shared a privvy moment here and there, like the time we were all gathered at the movies and walked to taco bell. and aaron ate your taco. we were all crammed into that tiny ( ... )

i can remember you telling me one time, "hey, check out this song my dad just tought me" and you started to play house of the rising sun from the animals and it sounded to me, better than the actual song. i heard lisette play it about a week later and i wasn't surprised that your results were much more audible and enjoyable. and then for a while during freshman year when i'd bring lisette lunch, you'd be sitting at that lunch table and i'd nearly piss my pants in excitement to hear you play a diddy on your classical. back then everyone had a classical, and there was that gothic fella with the red bass who would play korn all the time. you and linds, yall were inseperabe, always fighting over who found which bands first and who showed who the other. you somehow managed to play three libras in standard tuning at the proper tone of the song, i'm still blown away by that feat. you'd look so beautiful and at peace with yourself when you'd play. your fingers were your brushes and the guitar your canvas. you would paint masterpeice after ( ... )
