Graduate school is kicking my ass. I've been told by everyone who's ever done it that it's supposed to feel this way in the beginning; but, HOLY SHIT. Information theory is fucking DENSE. I'm wading through articles and textbooks so slowly. And I'm not used to reading things without understanding what they're telling me

Omg your kid is ADORABLE. We're expecting a baby in March (!), and seeing pictures of adorable children such as yours gives me hope that this will be a positive adventure. =)

Don't worry about grad school. None of us know shit, especially in the beginning. The big secret is that everyone is convinced that they're the one big imposter in the group, when in reality, we're all just a bunch of imposters trying to pretend like we're experts. Some folks just learn to talk the talk a little faster. =)

And I hardly ever say this, because I'm not a kid person...

but your little girl is an ANGEL. So glad she's a book slut, too. If I ever have a kid, they won't know what TV is until they move out of the house, if I can help it.
