Basement issues

So a couple weeks ago our sump pump in the basement failed and Keith went downstairs in the morning to discover an inch of water on the floor.  The basement isn't finished or anything, but we were using it for storage so a bunch of crap ot wet.  Suprisingly though, nothing really got ruined - we had half of our stuff up on storage racks.

That sux about the sump pump...thaqt happened to me after Paul and I moved into our house.

I need to sort through my crap too. I've been living in the same apt now for about 4 yrs=accumulation of STUFF!

Did you guys lose a bunch of stuff when it happened to you?

I guess the one good thing is that it forces us to go through what we're storing! I have some boxes that I haven't opened since 2 moves ago!!! Isn't it amazing how much crap we accumulate??!?!?

Yeah, it's horrible how much clutter gathers over the years..
