At last! I have completed another trial. I used a honey ale and egg shampoo bar I purchased from a friend on Etsy. I rubbed the bar on my hair until it was well lathered with suds then I scrubbed/massaged with my finger tips. I rinsed out with water while scrubbing my scalp. Bleh
My hair still feels really dry, fried, ickyness....it's been a while since I even used the Baking Soda. I'm debating if I'll ever try Baking Soda again. I'm leaving towards never again. -
Forgive me for I have sinned
Whatever I did to my hair with the BS, WV and that weird avocado mix messed up my hair. I had to use shampoo and conditioner to wash with yesterday because my hair reeked of vinegar and was really greasy/waxish feeling. I believe that it was because the EVOO from that avocado mix was still on my hair. Next time, I'll leave out the EVOO. After I ( Read more... ) -
Iiiiinteresting
This morning (yes it's uber early yay work!) my hair still smells of vinegar BUT my bangs feel mostly clean. When I peered close in the mirror at my bangs, I noticed a few white flakes in a couple spots even though I washed everything out really well. Hmmm. This is interesting. Sadly today....I have to use shampoo :/ -

It's been a number of hours since I got out of the shower and although I did have my hair up because I was baking...it's still slightly damp. It REALLY smells of vinegar and feels bleh.. So, next time I need to A) use the BS mixture better B) use less vinegar. -

So recently I've been researching something called no-poo. There are many different ways to do no-poo. It depends on what type of hair you have and the condition of your scalp and hair.
