Movie #10 - Rapunzel
Not sure if you have noticed a trend here, but besides trying to catch up on my comics movies, I have also been catching up on animated movies. After Rio and How to train your dragon, I am happy to add Rapunzel to the list of cool animated movies that have come out lately.
Light, fun, dynamic and smart, this is pure entertainment for the whole family. On a personal note, it is also nice to see a strong Disney princess :) They have come up more and more with them lately, but Rapunzel has character, you can tell she is one personality to handle, but still she is the desperate princess with cute dreams and the romantic prince coming her way.
For someone like me who has grown up with the old fashioned Disney films, I found in this one the magic of the old ones, the technology of the new ones, and the tone of the current society.
Isn't it good to know that sometimes, even with classics, you can just put the world on hold while you enjoy a break and have a bit of fun?
