Now this one was a nice surprise! I'm not a fan of either of the main actors, and still I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Two people meet after having just ended their previous relationship. Tired of always having to deal with emotions and the consequences, they make a deal on being friends with benefits, therefore being able to enjoy sex without any of its complications. Or so they thought...
I cannot say this was a very original story, or surprising, or fantastic acting. Do not expect anything else than your standard romantic comedy with this film. However the way all the elements are presented is refreshing, modern and highly entertaining.
Good lines and good fun for something light that will keep you distracted for 1h30, what more to ask for? It is what I call a successful romantic comedy.
My favorite touch? How social media and technology are being used in the movie. Great product placement without actually being annoying (keep an eye out for the moment where they swear on the ebible lmao). Oh, and Woody Harrelson is hilarious!
