I've great adoration for what remains of American wildnerness. In particular, I adore the upper western region of our country and the Great Plains that precede them. Though i would scarcely identify with the frontiersman in terms of appreciation, I find myself increasingly reverent to the sheer beauty of their lot - the frontier itself. Rustic

hey man, you need to update me on your situation in cali. i still regret not being able to hang out that last weekend before you left... oh well.

quick update: michele had surgery today on her thumb. she got it caught in a car door. the result was complete annihilation of the nail, a cut in the nail bed that reached the bone, and a fractured bone at the tip of her thumb. good news is the surgery went fine and the nail should grow back normally. bad news is that nail will take months to grow back. but all in all she is fine.

anyway, it would be great to hear from you when you find some free time. talk to you later...
