Well, who doesn't love a rainbow!

I've actually seen a double rainbow. It's quite awesome.

I saw a double too, we were driving and actually drove through the end of it. It was on my birthday, nearly ten years ago. Strange and fantastic!

Rainbows are excellent. Once saw a triple, just faintly.

... there are people who don't like rainbows?

Strange.

Also, never heard of a moonbow before, but they sound awesome :D

Very strange! People nowadays... *shakes head*

I hadn't heard of moonbows either before Shinysparks told me about them. :-)

Rainbows are AWESOME! And fairly easy to spot if the conditions are right. If the sun is shining after a rainstorm (particularly if it's still misting rain,) look in the opposite direction of the sun - usually, right behind you. LOL!

My favorites, though are sundogs and moondogs - the latter of which are so rare I've only seen once.

Moonbows. *smiles* I've only seen the one at Cumberland Falls* once, and I didn't really catch it at it's peak, but it's still pretty darn awesome. It takes a while for you to see it (mainly because of the idiots who keep trying to take a photo of it - with their flash... *facepalm*) because your eyes have to adjust to the darkness. It appears as this white arc of light going over the falls. If you stare long enough, you might get a glimpse of very faint color. So, it is different from a normal rainbow, but it's fascinating when you consider it's caused by just moonlight.

*If you ever get to visit Kentucky around the time of a full moon, we are SO going there. *nods*

Cumberland Falls ♥ I haven't been at night, though. Sounds very cool!

Yup, as soon as there's rain in one end and sun in the other, I turn to the rain, hoping for a rainbow! :-D

I've never seen either sun- or moondog. o_O I've seen northern lights, though!

Well, moonbows may be hard to come by and hard to see but well worth it! ♥ Cumberland Falls must happen! :-)))))
