I feel like Gale is really emotionally manipulative in the second book and it keeps me from liking him.

Like, idk, Gale and Katniss's relationship is really all tell and no show and when we do see him, he's a dick to her most of the time, so I do not care for it.

But, yeah, those examples are good. I think that, if she'd never gone to the Games, like she says, she would've been with Gale. Everyone sort of expects it, but then she went to the island and she changed and idk I just feel like the guy you should be with is the one you have trouble sleeping without.
