Please don't take this the wrong way, but until I started reading your post, I wondered why in the world you'd have a picture of a curling iron on your blog.

Like I said, a butt-ugly pen.

Seems like the Germans either go ultra conservative with their pen design or insane.

They make good solid pens though.

But I'm starting to lean more toward the Italians. They like the luxury writers and even the user grade pens (which is my bracket) are posh.

What was really intriguing was the subject line "Let the punishment fit the crime" paired with what appeared to be a curling iron. I have to say that the actual post, while interesting, was a bit of a letdown compared to the post in my head...

I don't know what people are hemming and hawing about. Obviously, this is a cat of refinement and great sagacity. :)

Actually, it looks like it might have a little red light up there at the top.
