So I get home and my mum starts on about my posture and my weight, her two favourite peeves. It says something that all I had to do was look back at the comments on Keganin to put me back into the proper fangirly, flaily, deliriously happy frame of mind. ^________

...though I suppose this means I have to give in and finally write a description of the girl. *beckons impatiently to Oshitari*

And I suck at art, too, though I'm a decent photographer. I tell people I paint with words.

My father's family likes to joke that the reason I write so much is because I can't paint, and I can't draw. (Well, it's a family of painters and artists, so I guess I see where they're coming from.) There have been many, many times when I've wished for the ability to just draw the scene in my head rather than having to write it, and trust that people will see the same thing in their head as I'm seeing in mine.
*laugh* You and I both know that it'll never actually happen, though. Maybe that's part of the pleasure of it, in its own way.

...I don't know whether or not to dig out a nitroglycerin pill in preparation for a heart attack, because lainex claims she's going to draw more. O_O

My ex (er, one of them, anyway) has just informed me that I am an idiot and that 'FTW' is 'For The Win,' not 'What the F___' backwards, and that it's WoW-speak. ^^; Is this true?

I have no idea where or why, but the WOW-explanation would make sense.
They have "for the Horde!" and "for the Alliance!" after all.
I got it from askerian who says it's "for the win."
A backwards WTF would definitely be interesting, especially given its use as a review for so many stories nowadays! (SasuSaku FTW != SasuSaku WTF.)
