I am so pleased you're enjoying it :) Next update will be up in a day or two -- I made the decision to wait until the story was actually complete before I started posting anything because I am very, very slow at writing (which is why I will never be able to make a career out of it, lol).

I'm do curious as to what Thor gave Loki, but his reaction to it after Jane's story and her outburst about having no home left means it will probably make my heart break and I don't think I'm quite ready for that just yet. (Which is great, because chapter break.)
This AU is also conceptually great and I haven't told you that yet. It's a very plausible AU from Thor 2, although I'd love to know how exactly Jane survived. (Unless it was merely a case that she and Thor didn't find the anomaly in the cave and thus didn't make it back in time?)

I hadn't thought in too much detail about exactly what happened, but it was something along the lines of not getting back in time and Malekith's plan essentially backfiring on him. In my AU-verse, Loki kept up with them (didn't fake his death) but when the earth imploded he took off and Thor let him go. Which naturally got Odin riled up 'cause A+ parenting skills... -_-
