Another bad night! I'm not allowed to have anymore of these!

OK - I'm so glad this horrible week is over!! I was in the hospital last night. I went out for my friend Jes' 29th Birthday. We went to a Japanese Hibachi Restaurant. It was so much fun and the cook was amazing.

One of the guys at the table ordered Lobster. I am of course allergic to lobster! I didn't think anything of it until the cook brought

Bad to worse! I wonderd about you last night! I never saw you online and that's NOT like you. I thought about calling at 11:00 pm but I was worried I'd wake you. :( Man, that's so rough! My mom is allergic to lobster too. I hope you feel better now!!!!!

My mom and I got the rash but we are not allergic they said. It does ake me itch all over tho.

Glad to know you were able to get treatment so quickly. Hate the nebulizer treatments too, make me shaky for a while after. Don't like the prednisone either...and my doctor knows, though she'll prescribe it if I really need it. Makes me jittery.

They cross contaminated it. I didn't realize it until they brought out the food for the next table over.

They put all of the raw food for this big hibachi table on the same silver platter. For us it was 2 or 3 steaks, lots of chicken and shrimp and that one little lobster!

It was scary to know that I had the reaction for just that little bit but the nurse at the ED said that it is usually either the dye or the oils so it's no surprise that I had the reaction that I did.

I get the same nasty effect from...actually it is too funny to say...strange maybe.

Going back to it
last time I had that problem I ended up staying in hospital for over a week and had to be feed from a drip which was horrible.
Your so lucky, but bloody hell, you could have that restaurant done! That cross contaminating could end up killing someone one day!

If it had been mushrooms and the same thing happened to me I would have had 10 minutes to live!
