I really only seem to post here when really good/bad things happen to me. I guess I just like to use this as a way to vent some of my energy/frustration out of me and onto the rest of you. So, thanks, for taking some time out of your day to hear my highs/lows ( Read more... )

Yes, I ended up wandering with the two of them for about 4 weeks, and then took off on my own again last week, but I guess I will be joining up with them again tomorrow.

Pompei is wonderful. You get to see everything that was in the lives of people 2000 years ago, perfectly preserved and excavated. You can see how people actually lived, as opposed to just imagining it at the ruins that are the usual visual method of visiting the past.

Not much of the trip left. I only have to go up to Germany tomorrow, hang out for a week, and then head back to the states. Should be fine. I have a bunch of things to preoccupy me for the next couple of weeks, so that is good.
