OMG these are amazing :D I especially love how you managed to marry the brilliance of Cambridge Spies, Lucifer Box, Anthony/Guy and lycanthropy, I didn't think this would be possible but it is and it is wonderful :D

Working on mine now . . .

Thank you so much! Ha ha, I was wondering if trying to combine all those elements might be a bit much. But after a moment or two, my decision was as usual: Smoosh them together and see what happens. :B

Eee, I can't wait to read what you come up with! You have me all fidgety with the anticipation.

I'd never, in all of my years as a medical doctor, seen anyone still alive having gone so pale as my companion, and I'd never, in all the time I'd known him, seen him lose his composure. But there he was, slumped in the chair all the same, his face as white as a sheet and looking mildly sickly, staring at me with wide eyes.

"Good morning, Holmes," said I, trying to supress my smugness. "I did not expect you back so soon."

Holmes made no reply.

"You look a tad rattled, my good man," I went on.

"You --" he said, choking on the world.

"Yes, it is I."

"No -- you"Presently and with one fell swoop disproved your theory of the nonexistance of the supernatural, yes ( ... )

That is utterly, utterly brilliant. You capture Holmes and Watson's interactions so wonderfully, it just feels genuine. I love how Watson wanted to keep his lycanthropy a secret from Holmes because it would destroy his carefully constructed world view. It speaks volumes about their friendship, Watson's character and the way he'd like to see the world.

The last line is, of course, perfect!

I love werewolf!Watson to bits. Do you think he'd be a veterinary as well as a doctor? :P

I rather liked that too, the idea that he's just being overprotective and wants Holmes to stay ignorant of the whole thing rather than realize he needs to re-evaluate his entire philosophy ;)

Now I want to see Holmes take him to veterinary, actually . . . as long as it's not Chinnery.

It had, admittedly, initially unsettled him. Not that Coward had approached him, face grave, announcing with a trembling voice that he had a secret to impart, which at the time he scoffingly thought couldn't be that much of a secret - Coward had a devious mind, sure, but not quite as devious as the boy would've liked. Not even that on the night of the full moon his facade of cold superiority temporarily dropped (unnoticed by Coward, who was too involved in the change to notice) and he watched the young man transform into the lean, clean-limbed, black-furred canine ( ... )
