Congratulations! Feel free to grill away, and let me know if you're coming back into town at all - I've only got a couch to offer, but you're welcome to it if you need it.
And good luck finishing everything up in the next few months - it will be crazy, but I'm sure it will be SO wonderful to be done!
Thanks Sherri! Actually, I have a question for you regarding apartment hunting. I plan to move in August, and I'm planning to head out to Bloomington in late June to look at places. However, I'm already seeing some listings for apartments available in August. Are those places just posting really early, or is June too late to look for fall housing?
I don't think you'll have a problem finding a place in June - there's a ton of student housing around here. That being said, one's options are definitely more limited in June than they are earlier in the spring. Fall apartments begin to be listed as early as the previous November or December (which is ridiculous!), but a lot of people don't know for sure what their plans are until late spring, and there's always new availability. I'm pretty sure there are also some places that reserve spots for incoming students that generally don't start looking until the summer.
Sorry for the long answer . . . but the bottom line is that while you may not find the apartment of your dreams, I'm sure you'll be able to find something. :)
