One of my friends found this; it's an extremely cool way of representing where people are moving in the US.

The same friend also pointed out the subway map of Ank-Morpork.

Interetsing... for Seattle and Atlanta, most of the lines are Inbound black, but for LA most are Outbound red. Very telling.

Well, kind of. The size and darkness of the lines indicates how many people are moving along there. LA has a lot of outbound lines. but it also has a whole swath of dark black lines mostly to New England. (Also, you can highlight counties on the other end of those lines and it will give you data about how many people went each way and what their average incomes were.)

Thank you for the subway map, it has a link to an awesome city map that I hadn't seen, and now I have a copy, and so does the owner of the computer I'm on. :)
