Miss K convinced me to sell most of my books (they take up a lot of space). So we first tried selling them to a local book store, a bin (40ish books) for 20$ was the best rate we could get. Instead of selling locally we're trying half.com and so far it's working out pretty well. It averages two book sales a week

Fwiw, we are considering shipping them off to Powell's if they sit on the store for too long. If this is of interest to anyone, I highly recommend reading their policy. If a book does not meet the condition specified, or their quotas change...they will throw it away; you will not get your book back.

if by any chance you get time to make a list of your books, i would be interested in that. Maybe also other people in LJ.
Older books are very often unfindable or else very expensive in online shops.
