Sounds like a bunch of assholes! I think it's a cultural thing: there are places in America where the people are used to having a tantrum in order to get their way, or at least fuck with the other person's emotions. It's so stupid...there's just no excuse. Why should the ride operator, who's basically just some dude, take the heat for their kid being too small? Who's going to get fired if the kid gets killed? And are these people kidding themselves about lines? Do they not realise that the major reason amusement parks suck is that most of the time is spent lining up?

But then some people you just can't reason with...they're just not that type...
