Okay so Mindy thinks Robin is THE COOLEST THING EVER. Which means that she's always slightly worried when they talk! Because she has to make sure she comes off as awesome enough to talk to ~Robin~ even if that Robin is a huge douche. She gets a little paranoid that he's insulting her even if he's just being cryptic or something. Now that she's been in camp for a little bit, she's starting to think of him more as "a kid who I have a lot in common with" instead of just "omg it's ♥Robin♥!!!" She's still going to do her best to impress him and avoid sharing any personal information that could be considered weaknesses until she gets to know him a little more, though.
Mindy likes Speed because he's fun! She doesn't hold his "don't shoot people don't use guns blah blah" thing against him since he seemed to be saying it more out of Superhero Obligation than anything else, which means she can feel free to banter with him without fear of a lecture. The whole midget thing is slightly annoying, but she'll let it slide because he seems to be doing it in an affectionate way and she couldn't stab him anyway. The fact that he's a hero gets him +10 cool points anyway and she trusts him with her real name because, again, hero.
Speed thinks Mindy is awesome. He would also like to punch in the face whoever thought it would be a great idea to turn a kid who might still think boys have cooties into a crazy-ass assassin, but hey, that's not actually Mindy's fault. If she was a couple years older, her way with weapons would even be kinda hot.
That aside, he's very aware that Mindy doesn't really need any sort of saving or babysitting, but a social life and some non-heroing activities might be cool. Plus she's fun to talk to and he doesn't mind the constant teasing (and often sets himself up for it). She's great to banter with, and has the benefit of being a cool kid (Tommy loev kids) without him having to watch his mouth constantly around her.
Mindy doesn't know what to make of Vanya! On the one hand, the constant whining about her home life and the fact that she had no spine to speak of drive her nuts. It's so completely opposite what Mindy was raised to do that she... has trouble remembering that Vanya's home life sucked! And she kind of has the right to complain about it. However! Mindy is willing to overlook this in light of the fact that Vanya actively wants to change. That earned Mindy's respect and now she's capable of seeing Vanya as a sweet person who actually seems to care about Mindy. She is her first female friend! Aw.
...also Mindy feels kind of bad about not telling Vanya about being Hit-Girl but she doesn't trust her 100% yet and so is mostly just amused.
Vanya really didn't want to like Hit-Girl, but she does! She assumed that Hit-Girl would hate her and lie to her (which actually, she sort of is...) and basically lead to everyone realizing how useless Vanya is, due to Vanya's massive issues with her sister. Instead, Hit-Girl is willing to train her and actually talks to her, and this amazes Vanya! She's going to try really hard not to disappoint Hit-Girl and prove that she's worth training. Vanya likes Mindy, too... and is kind of worried about her, hilariously enough
And Vanya will probably get pretty upset when/if she eventually finds out that Mindy and Hit-Girl are the same person, since lying is such a huge issue with her, but she also is starting to understand the importance of secret identities, so it won't be friendship-ending... hopefully.
She doesn't understand Satoshi AT ALL. Well, okay, she gets that having the military try to use your phenomenal cosmic power for evil sucks, and that can contribute to not liking violence. But he seems to be talking from experience! And Mindy just doesn't get how someone can go through awful stuff like that and still come out apparently loving everyone and wanting to make nice with people. She while she likes him in as much as he's a nice guy who wants to help, he just baffles her. And this makes her pretty wary of him overall.
Mindy didn't have a normal childhood, but she's pretty sure that usually ten year olds don't identify as fatalists. So she knows SOMETHING IS UP with Ys and that something is probably bad. He's creepy! And smart, and just.... weird. She's pretty sure whatever game he's playing he's been playing longer than her and he's better at it. Sooo she's going to avoid him as much as she can without arousing suspicion.
--and after he poisons her, just add a fuck you to the above! She'll be about 80% sure it was him or someone with connections to him since no one else in camp has been quite so creepertastic. And since Mindy's life is based on revenge, she will probably try to find a way to make him pay somehow, or at least find out motivations behind it. Did she spook him, or is he just a giant bag of dicks? WHO KNOWS.
