Band is good for me...

Last night I went to Scottsboro to swim with mormons from all over! It was a lot of fun, even though I got there an hour late because I had to wait for band to get over. I saw some friends I hadnt seen since youth conference, and I had fun just going on the drive. David, Jim, and I came up with some arm circle verses on the way home, most of ( Read more... )

Saddam Hussein had to be taken out. Sure, there were no weapons of mass destruction, but there were good sources saying there were. Thats why we invaded Iraq. Those sources proved false, but still, Saddam killed hundreds of thousands of people. He had to be killed. Yes, I know some Americans have been killed in this war. That is to be expected. But they died for a good cause. And those soldiers are fighting terrorists. Do you think we should just sit around and wait for terrorists to attack? I sure as hell don't. We don't need another person to come in and screw this up. AKA John Kerry. Who cares if Bush has never been in a war? I myself would send the whole US army to kick anyones ass who is a terrorist supporter. The soldiers knew that if something happened, they could be called to war. If they didn't accept that fact, they wouldn't have joined the army.

I will agree with you that Saddam Hussein is a bad man and does not deserve to be in power. However there are some things that I disagree with about your post...

a) No link has been found between Iraq and Al-Qaeda. This means that Saddam Hussein was not a serious terrorist supporter. Why aren't we focusing more of our efforts on finding people such as Osama Bin Laden? The focus completely turned from Afghanistan to Iraq.

b) Kerry plans to provide more funds for the U.S. military AND plans to reform our intelligence system so that correct information is found. Don't tell me that he is going to screw things up and allow terrorists to come attack our country. He's not going to slack off on those efforts.

c) Why in the world do we STILL have troops in Iraq??? Saddam is out. The new government is in. Yet American soldiers are still over there losing their lives. Explain that one please.
