ok..for anybody who saw the village can you clear this up for me?
in the beginning, the kid dies. the tombstone says 1890-1897(birth and death dates). when ivy goes into the town the security/patrol guy is driving a landrover. cars werent invented for another 30ish years (if its the 1890s/1900s), let alone landrovers, which came along alot later.

i thought it said 1980-1987... ...they live in a wildlife preserve n have no money therefore have no technology or new clothes cuz they dont go newhere...
