For the past year and a half I've been reading romance novels regularly. I'm not a big fan of historical romances (so many dukes! and rakes!) or paranormal (so many animal shifters!) or sci-fi (so many aliens with human-like appendages!). And now the holiday season is in its waning days...we are in Chicago which is even more fun the second time because we know how to get around and what we want to see.  Plus Z is now old enough/interested enough to participte in the kids' program at the convention so that frees up more time.  Which I have spent sleeping or reading.  Also eating ( Read more... )

It's hard to believe that at this time we will only be at the Fields at RFK twice a week.  For most of this year we were there nearly every weekday and weekend.  And because of logistics Mo has been doing soccer practice duty on his own.  Fine by me!
