Let's see. Tom and I got our lease yesterday, but his name wasn't on the lease. So, now I have to call them which I hate to do and get his name on the lease. Then we need like $1250 by April 25th and that would be fine except we don't get paid until the end of the month, so I don't know where we are coming up with the extra $300 that we need.

Mandi- I'd suggest leaving his name off the lease. That way, if anything happens (not that I'm insinuating anything) you know who is responsible for what.
That's what my boyfriend (Justin) & I did with our apartment. My name is on the lease, and Justin is listed as an extra tenant. Most landlords prefer you do things this way anyway.

lol everyone else has been telling me to have his name on the lease. Personally it doesn't really matter to me either way. I'd just assume leave it the way it is with just my name on it, but in my lease it says something about paying extra for guests or some shit...I don't know. I'll have to call my landlord then and ask him if I can just add Tom as an extra tenant. I have no clue if I can even do that. I'll check it out, and we'll see what happens :P
